I started Studio JC because I got tired of the way design usually works. Agencies with too many layers. Freelancers who disappear. In-house hires that take months to find.
After 10+ years in UX - across product teams, agencies, and as a solo consultant - I saw a gap. Growing companies needed senior design help but couldn't justify a full-time hire. They deserved better options.
Now I work as a fractional design partner. That means you get senior expertise without the overhead. Direct collaboration, not account managers. Someone who sticks around rather than handing off to juniors.
I've designed products for startups finding their feet and established businesses ready to scale. SaaS platforms, fintech apps, ecommerce stores, marketing sites. The common thread: working with founders and product people who care about getting it right.
